Trumpeter 02266 1/32 A-4E Skyhawk

Description

Developed in the 1950s, the Douglas A-4, nicknamed “Sky Hawk”, was utilized primarily by the USN and USMC. A lightweight aircraft, the Skyhawk could operate off of modernized Second World War aircraft carriers and later saw service over North Vietnam and the conflict over the Malvinas Islands. The A-4E was an improved variant of the A-4 with a reinforced airframe, two more weapons pylons, a Pratt & Whitney J52-P-6A engine (37 kN), and enhanced avionics. This 1/32 scale model measures 41.1cm long and 26.1cm wide when fully assembled.
